I entered the compo, but have nor recieved any feed back regarding my entry. How would I know if evrything is in order? I dont want to miss out on this-just getting into the whole spearing scene.

Hopefully I will have beginners luck and bag a few biggies??

dived Kramats on saturday morning. Some really decent size hotties around! Saw one huge hottie I named 'steenbras hottie' which was well over 2kgs, unfortunately it showed its face only once....which happened to be when i was reloading...
definately worth a dive there on compi day....

Dear Registerd Competitors and other interested spearo's

It is with regret that we have to announce the postponement of Saturday's FREEDIVERS Hottie shoot.

Due to a few unavoidable technical hitches that we have experienced in the run-up to the competition, it was decided by the Blue Spearos committee in communication with FREEDIVERS to postpone the event to a later date. This decision was taken in the interests of all competitors, Blue Spearos as hosts as well as the sponsor, FREEDIVERS, in order to avoid any unhappiness which might have arisen as a result of the problems that we have encountered.

An announcement will be made shortly pronouncing the new competition date.

On behalf of FREEDIVERS and hosts BLUE SPEAROS, we apologise for any inconvenience and dissapointment that this might cause.

yep. heard about it. Apparently it has been postponed for 3 weeks. Really hope this wont put a dampener on things but get more people into the comp.

Is anyone going out this weekend to do some spearing? Myself and 2 buddies are going out Cape Point area anyways seeing as though we were supposed to go to the compo. We dont know the area too well and would like someone to give us some help as to where to go out and some spots near and around cape point. Or if anyone is keen we can meet up somewhere and maybe make a day of it? So if anyone is keen let me know then we can work it from there.
