How to aim
Hi Bringel, Im no expert.
Dont clench the gun, but your grip must be firm.
Dont pull the trigger, squeeze it. Same as a firearm.
Dont close you one eye. Both eyes open and use the end of the spear as an aiming point. This takes some practise shooting with both eyes open. Thast way you have a full field of vision.
How you keep your arm depends on the situation, extended or bended.
And Practise Practise
And o yes..practise.

The best way to compensate for the recoil of the gun, is to aim slightly below the intended target. ie, if u are going for a gill shot, then aim a few cm's below

aiming
I don't use the speartip as aiming point but the top of the shaft aim low on long shots as it will affect your shot at range and always try to moer it in the gills easiest way for strong fish to be subdued as their "lungs" are compromised.
